We’re very pleased to announce our successful train-the-trainer as a remote learning programme.

This Ofqual- accredited course is ideal for those starting training or who want to brush up on their skills. It teaches you the basics of good communication and training skills, and is designed for those who deliver training at work (and for whom the Level 3 Award in Education and Training is a step too far at this stage). The course ends in a practical session that will be held under conditions that include social distancing. Now is a great time to complete the home-learning part of the course, with great feedback and help from your trainer at every step of the way!

We want you to enjoy your learning!  So we make sure that our courses are very well organised, and that your own experiences are drawn on in class to make your training sessions (and that of your peers) interesting, relevant to you and interactive!

Level 4 HACCP in Manufacturing results are released: two Distinctions – November 2017

At Aaron Scott and Black we wish to congratulate our candidates who gained Distinction in their Level 4 Award in HACCP in Manufacturing (QCF) examinations in November 2017.  This is a challenging four-day course which ends in an externally-marked examination. Well done to both students in the cohort, Matt and Raquel for both scoring well above the 80% requirement for Distinction – this is a great achievement and the result of a lot of hard work! Matt and Raquel received their Level 4 HACCP training one day a week over a period of five weeks and were trained on-site at their factory. Level 4 Award in HACCP in Manufacturing is a fully accredited qualification that we offer on-site on your premises or at our Ringwood Centre, either in a block of four days or staggered over a number of weeks, to suit your requirements.

At Aaron Scott and Black, we are delighted to give you advance news of a new fully accredited (RQF) auditing qualification which is due to be launched in December 2017. This qualification course takes place over one day (with preliminary tasks) and is suited for all who are involved in internal audits of management systems. We offer the following: Level 3 Award in Auditing and Inspections Skills (RQF) for: Food and Drinks Manufacturing; Food Packaging; ISO 13485 Medical Devices; ISO 15189 Medical Laboratory Accreditation; ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems; ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems We offer the training on-site at your premises.

Level 2 Food Safety at Sea Success, October 2017

Congratulations to Simon and Sam for passing their RQF qualification Level 2 Award in Food Safety at Sea in October 2017. The Maritime and Coastguard Agency rules mean that only fully accredited qualifications such as this one are recognised and accepted for mariners, so it is always a pleasure to be able to offer these important qualification courses at short notice.
