We are delighted to offer an interesting and interactive one-day course on the Isle of Wight in AUDITING for food and drinks manufacturers. This Ofqual-regulated course leads to the recognised qualification Level 3 Award in Effective Auditing Skills (RQF). The course combines theory with practical auditing activities. Candidates will develop the necessary auditing skills to enable them to audit and report on conformance (and NC) and implementation of the food safety management system.

How will your organisation benefit?

This course meets the requirements of the SALSA and BRCGS Standards for the training of internal auditors. Candidates will be trained in auditing and ready to implement your programme of internal audits. Candidates will learn how to initiate an audit, plan and prepare and conduct audit activities, compile and distribute audit reports and NC reports, and raise and close out follow-up activities in relation to SALSA and BRCGS

All candidates will benefit from having free access to technical support in auditing from the trainer after the course.

Who should attend?

The people in your organisation who will be planning and conducting internal audits. Auditors should not audit their own work (according to SALSA and BRCGS requirements), so it is suggested that your audit team has at least two members.

Candidates will learn:

  • The importance of undertaking effective auditing
  • The importance of a planned approach to conducting effective audits
  • Understand the techniques used during the audit process
  • Understand how to analyse and use evidence collected to inform the audit process
  • Initiating, preparing and conducting audit activities
  • Preparing and distributing the audit report
  • Completing the audit and follow-up of NCs

Fees: £280.00 per person, to include all materials, exam entry fees, and tuition. Early birds: £250.00 per person if booked and paid for by 26 March 2024 There is no VAT and nothing else to pay. Trainer: Susan Alexander*

  • Venue: the venue will be in Ryde, Isle of Wight.Limited numbers: Maximum 12 candidates (minimum three for the course to run).
  • Times: 09.00 to 17.45 hrs.
  • Requirements: Your photo ID. No previous auditing experience is required to join this course.

Assessment
The course concludes with a one-hour examination of multiple choice questions.

The examination is an Ofqual regulated qualification and success leads to learners achieving the qualification Level 3 Award in Effective Auditing Skills accredited by the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF), accredited by Ofqual.
